Modernizing fleet management for 500+ trucks
How we migrated a legacy excel-based workflow to a real-time React dashboard in under 3 months.

LogistikGo, a mid-sized logistics provider in West Java, was managing a fleet of 500 trucks using a combination of WhatsApp groups and Excel spreadsheets. This manual process led to a 4-hour delay in daily reporting, frequent lost cargo tracking, and an inability to provide real-time ETAs to their enterprise clients. They needed a solution that drivers with low-end Android phones could use easily, while providing a robust command center for the HQ dispatchers.
The Solution
We built a custom React dashboard integrated with a Node.js backend. For the drivers, we developed a lightweight Progressive Web App (PWA) that works reliably on 3G networks. This app allows drivers to update status (Loading, En Route, Delivered) and upload proof-of-delivery photos instantly. For the HQ, we implemented a real-time map view using the Google Maps API, clustering trucks by status and region. The system also includes automated WhatsApp notifications for clients when their cargo is nearing destination.
